My Journey

Born and raised in Mumbai, discovered my passion for photography while pursuing an Engineering degree in the United States. An accidental encounter with a darkroom course in Irving, Texas, sparked a journey that has led more than two decades in documenting cultures and social causes around the world.

Experience

Cultural Exploration

Traveling extensively, I have explored diverse cultures and customs from the Romas in Zenica, Bosnia, to Catarina doll makers in Capula, Mexico, and from a shelter home for cancer kids in Mumbai to an NGO school for mentally disabled children in Quito, Ecuador. My photography has served as a cultural passport, breaking stereotypes and fostering a deeper understanding of the world.

Collaborative Opportunities

Worked with several non profit, NGOs and for for profit organizations to tell a visual story all over the world.

Capturing Cultures Through My Lens

Currently based in Mumbai, Uday continues to capture the vibrant essence of everyday life, inspiring and provoking through his evocative imagery.
